[TUT] Make Amazon Sites That Convert

Hello Lb, which platform are your sites hosted? carting ecommerce platform or wordpress with ecommerce platform?thanks!
I just use wordpress, no ecommerce.
Interesting method, how's the autoblogs doing? Are they pulling traffic?
They're doing pretty good, definitely pulling traffic.
Great post, but i have some questions :1- How do you autogenerated garbage article ?2- You use 1 emd domain for each keyword or you have 1 general domain with sub-domain for each keyword?3- You use basic method to find keywords for your Micro Niche Sites (1000 search/month + low competition + minimum cpc $1)? 4- how many website you have? how much money you earn with them a month?thanks for your response, good luck LBrown
1) Either with a zennoposter bot I made or I scrape a few articles, mix them together and then put them through a one click spinner.2) I don't do subdomains. I either do an EMD or a larger site with many posts targeting different keywords.3) My keyword research methods are ever evolving and are different for different type of site so I'm not going to lay out a method. I highly recommend others test different keyword methods and standards to figure out what's important for themselves. 4) Over 100 and enough to provide a nice life for my family.

I just need a theme! can anyone link me to something goood =s!
If you are talking about implementing this tutorial, then any free and simple wordpress theme will do. Just google that term.

Seems like the simplicity of this method is somewhat clouding the understanding of some people. The idea is to put a micro niche site but with only with some amazon products. Then show the products' pictures to the visitors as soon as they land on the site. People searching "iPhone cases" won't be much interested to read about iPhone cases. It's assumed that they already know about them and just looking to buy different variations. So, show them what the want, above the fold and off they go to amazon. Use some articles because they are needed to rank on G. That's pretty much it (if I understood it correctly).

just wondering do you monetize as well with adsense on these sites? And is there a reason behind putting the price on the picture? couldn't you just label the picture with something along the lines of "click here"?

spot on! This method is not SEO friendly but social traffic is a killer with this one.

EDIT: + any chance to get copy of adsplugin from someone who has developer license or stuff like that? :) i will share my method with you if you do!<3

Sometimes I add Adsense but most of my sites are Amazon only. The price makes it look more like a store which I why I like it. Sometimes when I'm setting up sites fast I just use a buy now button or "click here for price" and it works just fine.

The screen cap is such a good idea. I'm not really into affiliates, but still impressed.

I like that tutorial, bookmarked and gave it a try. The only issue is that I'm not too good with the third step. I tried to insert that custom Amazon code from CrazyGoodTools at the top of the website, but script not totally friendly.

I presume having just a banner with 3-4 product + a button image as the main banner of the website will do the job also right?

Bookmarked, this could be very useful. thx for the tips!

Yes, if you are having trouble with CrazyGoodTools stick to the first method with the screenshot of Amazon.

You use Google Webmaster tools in your autoblogs?

how do you track ranking for 100 autoblogs?

is it possible to put product name in CrazyGoodTools, and lets plugin search and update them ?

No.

Most of my sites are not autoblogs and I track different types of sites differently. For autoblogs I just track traffic and not rankings.

It is the adsplugin (method #2) that does that. With CrazyGoodTools I just use the online tool; I haven't done much with the plugin so I don't know about it's full functionality.

I was doing a similar method with Amazon sites and got blasted by penguin, wiped me out. Obviously you got through it, so did you diversify your anchor text a lot? I think that was my problem and also what kind of keyword density do you usually do?

I was hit with Panda 2.6 last year and after that I changed my strategy a lot. I go after a higher number of LOW volume and low competition terms. My SERPS are much less volatile now and I was not deeply effected by Penguin.

For anchor text I use 50% main keyword and 50% secondary keywords and other stuff. I try to keep density around/under 1%. Sometimes I do once in the title and once in the text and that's it. I don't optimize images unless I think image traffic will add to conversions, which it does with Adsense sites and not as much with Amazon.

Nice Share! I have a couple questions.

1) I'm starting out with amazon affiliates, I have a nicely aged domain with the word shopper in it. My question is would you recommend growing a large site with this type of domain? Or start by finding some emd's and spreading those out with specific niches but keeping them small?

2) What is a good tool to use in order to find a good niche? I have heard of many but I was wondering if you could share one?

3) Have you had any experience with youtube marketing I heard if done right this can bring in some good coin?

Thanks again.

1) If you're new to SEO, start with an EMD. If you're not new to SEO and are just new to Amazon then either will work fine.

2) If it is sold on Amazon and has searches in Adwords then it is a good niche, IMO.

3) Not a whole lot. I've tried a few things but it's not my forte. People seem to be doing good with it.

the layout for your page it's like this ?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I shift things around a bit but most of my sites are variations of that layout.

PS If you happen to see such a site, please don't publish it here.
