Good share OP. I don't quite understand the rules and requirements for getting a site into Google news but I can say this; I have a site which has been on G News for over 5 years now. It is a travel and property site about the Greek Islands. The site does not have new content several times per day. In fact it is only updated weekly to fortnightly with just 1 new article. I don't agree that you have to publish tens of articles daily, at least that has been my experience for over 5 years.
