I'm not the one who speaks self-motivation and finds wisdom in books like "THE 69 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE". Nah, I'm a nihilist at heart, and I believe there're no set of habits that are key to 'success', whatever that is.
The only reason I'm writing and posting this right now is to... share some good vibes maybe
A little more than a week ago, I wrote this thread, and since then things are getting much better. More productive, more satisfied, and also more relaxed. I didn't do anything crazy or achieved any major thing, I'm just being less mind-exhausted, and feeling much better about myself today than I was a week ago.
So, what's the thing? For the most part it's just slight life-style changes, and trying hard to trick my mind in a way that I know my mind already likes.
Turning distractions into actions
I decided to take this on the literal sense while not going out of scope as possible. Each time my mind starts throwing an idea or changing the track I'm on, I'm not trying to shut it or discard the thing it's throwing at me. I take a minute to look at it in a serious way;

Enough for now.. Excuse me for talking much, and for my bad English sometimes too. Guess I'll go sleep satisfied for one day.
Wish you all best of luck!

- I keep on taking 2 daily walks -since I don't exercise much-, each is 30-60 minutes, and have a good cool shower afterwards to refresh my mind and body.
- Smoking a bit less, and eating a bit more, avoiding fast food as possible, also avoiding too much sugar.
- FINALLY CHANGED THE BED SHEETS
- 'Discipline is key' sounds true.. I never been disciplined, I'm chaos, and well.. I've lived long enough to know that mostly I'll never be. Using somebody else's help can actually help; so I asked my GF and my best friend to be harsh on me, to annoy me, to follow up on my tasks and schedule as if they're my manager.. and well, with no further details, this is so effective!
- Here comes the mind games;
- I'm player 1, I set objectives, I grind hard, I cooperate with other players *APES TOGETHER STRONK!*
- Setting goals and targets is crucial. I started by setting the targets, realistic ones, made it all about me putting the needed work, and reward myself when achieving them. For the goals, I set realistic short term ones, gradual goals for mid and long term, and some unrealistic goals that I'LL BE CHASING AS IF MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.
- I took the advice regarding breaking tasks into smaller pieces too seriously.. I edited an image that's a task done, I wrote 420 words for a blog that's another one. And with my work style and fast paced and hopping around attitude, I'm doing much more and being really productive. This is steady delicious dopamine feeding my mind the whole day.

- First thing to look at; is it even doable? Yes, I got into situations before when the bright idea that came to my mind turned to be an NP-incomplete problem and I was just wasting times trying to solve the unsolvable *facepalms*
- Secondly; is it achievable? Do I have the needed skillset and knowledge to do it? Can I be learning it? Can I actually do it in a timely manner?
- Finally; is it related, or could be integrated somehow into any of the things I'm currently working on?
- I've a per project contract going on for sometime now, working on it part time, I'm over 80% done with it and still more than 1/3rd of the planned time left.
- Working on a scraping and automation project for my personal use, the initial plan is now expanded to something much bigger and more capable. The result till now? The initial plan is already done and exceeded by much, the current progress on the project is something like 50%.
- I'm steadily working on some youtube channels, revived couple old blogs of mine, adding more youtube channels and making them better, and planning ahead for many blogs and websites to build.
- I've learned much new stuff to me, sharpening my skills on various areas. Actually in this last week the stuff I learned is much more than the previous couple months!
Enough for now.. Excuse me for talking much, and for my bad English sometimes too. Guess I'll go sleep satisfied for one day.
