I need my windows2003 vps server turned into a vpn / proxy server, it has 10+ ip addresses attached to it. I need to be able to change to the chosen ip (from the list of ip's I own) so I can use different ip's for my internet activity at home) or on the server itself.. with the servers web browser.

I need to beable to pick ip #1 connect through it.. use it for my web browsing, then change to ip#2 connect through it...use it.. then change to ip#3 connect through it...use it.. and so on.

It can be setup in a way where I use the server it self with the servers browser, or connect from home to it through vpn.

As long as the sites i'm visiting dont detect that a proxy is being used it doesn't matter.

I also have a windows2008 vps server with 10+ ip addresses. which I need the same thing done.

I'm willing to pay $25 per server so $50 total if someone can help set this up. I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

install ccproxy on your server.

Once installed:
1. go to options--->make sure local ip is ticked
2. click on the advanced button
3. click on the network tab
4. make sure enable socks 4 is ticked
5. make sure disable external users is ticked
6. Tick enable multiple IPs outgoing
7. click ok
8. click ok
9. Click on account
10. Permit category should be on permit only
11. Auth type is on IP address
12. click on new
13. create a user name (anything that you want, although you will typing it in each time you switch ips)
14. tick password and create a password
15. click ok
16. click ok

Thats all you need to setup your server to work with different ips. You can use foxyproxy with firefox. ccprroxy will allow you to designate what port you want to use for your proxy. Just add each ip to foxy proxy. Once you have it setup, each time you choose a different ip, you will have to enter your username/password. This way others can't hijack and abuse your proxy.

Funny how I spent a while trying to figure out how to use my windows VPS with multiple IPs on it as proxy server with ccproxy and couldn't figure out how to do it until I got to BHW.

@championrain, not sure if you're still around but rep and thanks.
