Tumbrls Web 2.0 - Do are they working now?

I did a few tests for the last 2 months and to be honest, not sure whether Tumbrs are working now or not. Can anyone share their experience on this matter?

They do work. I assume you ask about improving rankings.

And I say this not only to promote my service.

It works both for local and niche related websites. New and old.

It all depends on the competition and how well you execute them.
Just like not all PBNs are as powerful, so is the situation with expired tumblrs.

Just search the forum for case studies. I know I did a couple the past year.
Search online and you will also find case studies.

Well, times do change) I may have been working last year but not now or it has lesser impact on improving rankings.
But I got you.

The past few months I worked on a couple local websites and some niche website. They all got movement after placing links on tumblrs.
 
They still work as good as they have used to work for the past couple years. You can't expect miracles from a link that you can get for free. But as far as free linkbuilding goes, they are the basic that everyone should utilize.

It's been a few months since I've tested but the best way fo me that worked with Tumblr was #1) An expired Tumblr with good metrics and #2) 300-500 word original article with an anchor text link to my money site. I would see rankings improvement fast doing this. Just a link does not carry as much weight IMHO. Haven't tried lately, but doubt much has changed!
 
Still good for link building like any other link.
 
expired ones wrk best with a contexttual non-spun article.
 
Tried 5 expired TF 15+ and I went from 12th to 10th for a mid competiton KW.
 
It does works. I purchased a couple of 10+ tumblr with bunch of links and high PA/DA. Sent it to a medium link and it push it to the top 8 from 40+.
 
Sent 10 Expired Tumblrs DA/PA between 65 and 73, 1 unique article on each, 500-900 words with a link to one of my money pages.

Page was consistently stuck dancing #7-8-11 1 week after the links it jumped to #4 for the first time and I'm sure it'll improve even more.

Keyword has 1.5k-2k MS buyer intent keyword.
