Has anyone observed that older postings are resurfacing on Tumblr? Compared to other platforms, it seems less time based. I'm curious about other people's experiences with this

I also noticed a month ago that my old posts started getting indexed more often. I think they're just changing the algorithms there.

Yes, i have also observed that it appears that they are once again making older stuff more visible. Have you observed this occurring in all post formats or just some of them?

I’ve noticed that too. Tumblr feels way less time-based than most platforms. Old posts resurface when tags get traction again or when people start reblogging similar content.

That makes sense, posts seem to get a second life there thanks to tags and reblogs. Do you think this works better for postings that are trend based than for content that is evergreen?
