Hey everyone,

It's been awhile since I've been around, but I'm soon to be starting a project and I'm seeking some advice :). In the past I have always used WordPress because I can easily customize it with great theme options, focus on building the site around keywords, etc.. However, my wife and I are starting a blog that will basically be short funny stories about a profession. We are not selling a product at all, and due to the comedic theme there isn't really any SEO terms that can be heavily pounded to increase discovery. That's why tumblr came to mind because people on there seem to discover targeted content all the time. They follow, like, reblog, share, and all that good stuff. I guess my question is...are there any downsides to tumblr? I've never used it before, but it just seems like a better fit for the style of blog we are creating. Let me know your thoughts on this or if you feel WordPress is still the better option. Just trying to think it all over before setting things up.

Tumblr is really good to reach out to people with minimal effort, in this case, I would definitely go for Tumblr. It's really not worth the hassle of building a WordPress blog here in my opinion.

Thanks SEO INC, that's that I thought as well. Just wanted to come run it by those who are "in the game" to see what came up.

Go with Tumblr. It is pretty easy to do and I am sure that you will have more luck with this.

Wordpress is one and only best option in free blogging website because

. Very Easy to customize
. Variety of Themes
. Technically more sound

I'd recommend to go with Wordpress. Yes, tumblr is very easy to use, but it doesn't have such important thing as "commenting" - all you can do on tumblr is liking and reblogging.
