Tumblr links in webmaster tools

So i followed a tutorial here on BHW and set up 30 expired tumblrs that I got from Fiverr. I added themes, pics and all the recommended stuff plus a link back to my site. This was about six weeks ago now and only one account has shown up in webmaster tools. So how long does it normally take for them to appear or is there a mistake i might have made that's stopping them showing up.

Did you check if all tumblrs are indexed? Are they all active? Tumblr loves to ghost accounts that are thin in content and they discourage indexing for those not popular/updated. If you want your tumblrs to provide juice you need to throw links at each of them to support your serps. Good luck.

Hey thanks, I took your advice and began to regularly update all the accounts to keep them active. Over the past couple of days the accounts have began appearing in search console. So yeah that was the secret sauce i was missing.

What kind of Links are we talking about here?
I usually send some Twitter and Google +1s to them
