Anyone here got experience with multiple tumblrs? Lets say I've got 10 genuine Tumblr blogs that I regularly use from my office. So they're not used for spam, just 10 different tumblrs for 10 different niches making good quality posts.

What are the chances of tumblr banning them?

Thanks.

As in, would the usage of the same IP address for all 10 accounts raise a red flag?

It would and there's a pretty high chance they will get removed. Just buy a few proxies, whitelist your office IP, put each on separate Firefox Portable instance, put one proxy to each, copy paste to your other coworkers and shit is solved.

Alright, sounds cool. Thanks for the advice.

Another question please - how about using an IFTTT service, which automatically posts to different Tumblrs, would that be too risky?

IFTTT is safe. Thousands of people use them every day.

They will be removed for sure. You need to get good proxies, but you can probably do 2-3 tumblr on one IP.

About IP, from my experience, it depends on the activities that you do.

If you follow/unfollow, like, reblog every day like crazy, you risk getting banned.
Otherwise, posting once in a while on dozens of blogs from the same IP haven't got my blogs deleted.
However, as you can never play it too safe, a couple of proxies will decrease the risks.

Thanks for that. However, if I'm using IFTTT, there's no point in using proxies right, since the IP address would always be the one that the IFTTT server uses? Am I right?

Nope, its not solved, shit is still there lol. For example webrtc will leak oryginal IP (and thats just one example, there are more). You can block webrtc, original IP wont be leaked but most real users dont even know what webrtc is so blocking webrtc can make whole activity suspicious.

best thing @OP can do:
On 1 pc in your office install proxmox and configure it, make as many VMs as you need (without clonning VMs). Install windows or ubuntu desktop, both will be fine.
Connect this PC to LTE router
Login to tumblr acc 1 from vm 1, reboot router, login to acc2 reboot router etc.
Dont forget to reboot router when switching accounts.

P.S.
Before doing all above visit whatsmyip.org or similar site and check few times what IP you get after reboot to be sure you get fresh IP after each reboot.

Cheers. And how about the idea I had about IFTTT, would that cause problems if I used that?

IFITTT probably use official tumblr api - its not somehting bad, but if you dont login to your accounts on any device and only use IFTTT you may look suspicious.
If you are paranoid about this tumblr accounts - proxmox, virtualbox or vmware workstation would also work - both are veary easy desktop solutions.
P.S.
With proxmox, virtualbox etc you cant have 2 VMs opened at same time with opened browser and tumblr account logged in, just for safety.

P.P.S.
How much this 10 tumblr blogs are worth for you? If $100 dont bother with proxmox or something similar, if over $1k i would go for proxmox.

More than likely not, but you'll need 10 IFTTT accounts, because you can link only one account per social media site, at least last time when i checked, this was the case. I did this for a while, posted from Twitter to Tumblr via IFTTT and i haven't experienced any issue, i wasn't logging into the accounts to do other tasks.

Anyone else with an idea concerning auto-posting to multiple Tumblr accounts simultaneously, without getting banned?

Managing 10 manually isn't much of a headache, but managing a 100 manually will be a nightmare. Surely there has to be an easier way?

As soon as you post a link that isn't marked in their whitelist from the same IP, both accounts will most probably be inspected by somebody, and of course that person will ghost you. Don't listen to anybody here, stick with 1 account per IP.

Lol. the amount of hoops people jump through. lol. having multiple accounts will not get you banned. spamming and being an ass will.
