Tumblr feels quiet or am I missing something

I checked out Tumblr recently and it feels like it’s either very active in specific niches or completely dead depending on where you look.

For those using it, is it still consistent or more hit or miss now?

Yeah that’s kind of the impression I was getting too, seems more niche focused now rather than something consistent across the board

Tumblr is still active in certain communities, but for most users it's more niche-driven and hit or miss compared to larger platforms today.

I feel the same way. Tumblr doesn't seem as active as it once was, and it appears that fewer people are using the platform nowadays. While it still has dedicated niche communities, its overall activity and influence are much lower than they were in the past.

Tumblr is dead for social traffic but a goldmine for SEO. Don't hunt users there; use it for tier 2 backlink stacking. It is still great for passing authority to your money site. Treat it as a link-building tool, not a social media app

I think tumblr is still active, but only in certain communities. If you are in the right niche and post content that fits the audience, you can still get engagement. For general marketing, though, it is nowhere near as active as it used to be.
