Here is a simple way to bypass tubeinators protection irrespective of the version.
It writes to the registry in a key
hkey_current_user/software/vb and vba settings/com protocol
All you need to do is delete this key and then start the software. It will show you an error screen

and Voila! you will have the unlocked version.
To delete this key you need to use the registry editor, which can be accessed as follows
click start and click run. In the box that appears enter "regedit", which will start the registry editor
Then you will see something like your windows explorer. Then delete this key
