I am a graphical designer and would love to design tshirts and sell them in an online shop... Whats the best way to get customers / promote this?

The best way is promoting your design with Facebook Ads....use Teespring and you don't need to pay for onlineshop hosting etc..

You can start out with Fiverr gigs helping others design t-shirts for teepsring if you only want to do the designing.
