Hi guys, I need some advise from you. I'm trying to rank for related keywords.

For e.g, item 'A' and item 'B' basically are the same product. Im ranking item 'A' quite okay but not so good for item 'B'. What do you suggest for me to do? I have not include any anchor text for 'item B' at all btw.

Should I start building links using the anchor 'item B'. Or should I focus more on increasing my domain authority? Your advise is greatly appreciated guys! :D

Start with on-page optimization for that 2nd keyword. A/B test for a few weeks until you get it right. If you're ranking for something related, it shouldn't be rocket science.

Thanks for the input! It does makes sense to try to optimize for both keywords. I'll start with that for now.

For related KWs, it does make sense to try to optimize for both. You should use both KWs in the content, it would make the content look more natural. Additionally you can build some more links where the content surrounding the anchor (or the exact anchor) is the related KW.

First, check on page optimization and if you want to you can even create another page for the keyword " B " , set an unique article, make sure on page optimization grade is "A" in a tool like Moz on-page then get some high quality backlinks, i'd go for a manual Web 2.0 linkwheel if you know how to do it properly it can be very beneficial for you and see how it goes from there, if keyword " B " still stuck there, try to push it with an explosion of Social signals as well as PBN ( Your OWN PBN ), and pay attention to TF ( Trust Flow ), this will surely be enough to move a keyword up even in competitive niches, good luck
