I have a client website that is listed on complaints board. No matter what we do (all white hat so far) we can't seem to get the complaints board site to move from the 3 or 4th position in g00gle.

We bought scrape box and plan on using it now but this complaint site has so many back links it's a huge elephant to move. The company I'm trying to help has an A+ BBB rating and this post was from an ex employee that started a business to compete.

Any ideas would be helpful.

The site has a lot of good content, about 20 social media sites linked and tweets, and retweets but we're still not able to move the crappy complaints board site down.

Good luck... Might be hard to compete. Have you considered actually getting the content changed on the site you're trying to move? That might be easiest, no?

The site has a lot of good content.Perseverance is what makes winners in SERP. Good luck, my friend!:super:

What keyword is it out ranking you on?

Business name? then well, you got ton of work to do, best advice, if it's business name expand out the about us pages as much as possible.

Have at least 1 sub page to the about us, more is better, then SB link the subpages as much as you can, you might out rank them and then push it down with multiple listings.

do some analysis on the complaints page, links, domain links and PR, see if you cant track the juice back and get some of it for your self..

Also if you do go the multiple about us pages, bookmark the buggery out of them, but do something that is going to make people vote... like, hide askii porn in the code and bookmark it as 'LOL some developer was having fun' or whatevs... that might work for you.
