Trying to build a viral Instagram

I have the idea for the Instagram and it was performing well but ever since the Insta update I haven't been able to advertise as well and the idea seems to not really have too solid of a niche yet. I've been paying for shout outs but learning real quick I need to do more research on where to invest. My question is, if I were to purchase a decent 50-100k account and transfer my account to that one, is it possible to gain a massive following just from people seeing you already have one? I feel like my idea is a bit different as it's not a meme account or anything people have really seen yet, just needs more traffic. I have around 7k followers now and they are all organic and legit, just not going up any. Other than promoting through reddit and a couple other websites I'm at a loss on where to advertise and how to grow. Thanks for any advice

What kind of account do you have? I'm asking because I usually start growing organically (posts start ranking for #) when I hit (2-5k) followers depending on a niche. The only thing to do is basically upload consistently and it starts snowballing. At first, I start growing about 50f per day than 100 and so on. After 10k the more I post the more I grow. Currently, have several accounts growing at 1k per day just from posts, and they are growing steadily for months.

Thanks I read through it. What I'm worried about with engagement groups and stuff is it making my profile look trashy. Right now its all original comments and followers. Do you typically lose that with engagement groups?

personally i have used engagemnt groups for likes and comments they are usefull for likes but comments are trash avoide using tjose groups for comment only use for likes/views
