I almost tried everything to earn money... I started Facebook and I started to travel... Made videos and reels and got my Facebook account monetized, but the payment is very very low... It does not even cover my diesel expenses...
I started YouTube & Instagram and I have been struggling to grow in either platforms. I need suggestions (Pay or Free) how to grow as a travel vlogger at least in my vicinity.

My Target now:- 100k followers each YT & Instagram.

Any help and advice is very welcomed. I will share my links in DM when asked.

Why not try written content?

IMO Video is a tougher nut to crack as compared to textual content.

Would love the opinions of other members on this.

Though a friend from Kenya was telling me that vloggers are really making it big at least in Kenya.

Focus on one platform first, preferably YT. If you grow a decent following on YT, you'll automatically grow on instagram.
Put some pictures and details about your trips on different travel groups on FB and then link your video in the comments.

Try variety of content food, car accessories, expenses and everything.. may be few more visitors will increase

Follow top 10 travel vloggers and do something unique that those 10 vloggers never tried before. Uniqueness and creavitity will help you success and sustain..

Wishing you the best!

ads all the way, and try collaborating with other creators in your niche, it can help boost visibility

Travel could mean mayn things maybe you could try to specialise in something.

I was injured a few months ago and bed ridden and really got in to some of these dashcam shows of people touring and documenting cities, towns and villages in their country just to kill some time. It was definitely a very eye opening experience and I learned a lot about the places, socially, legally and geographically that you can’t get even going there as a tourist and flocking to the hotspots. It was an interesting little niche of they did it well.

Growing as a travel vlogger can be tough, but there are ways to make it work on YouTube and Instagram. Start by connecting with local travel groups for collabs to reach new audiences. Optimize your content with relevant keywords and a catchy Instagram bio filled with travel hashtags. Stay consistent by setting up a content calendar. Use Instagram Stories and Reels for engaging, quick content. Don't forget SEO—create eye-catching thumbnails and titles for YouTube. Cross-promote between platforms and engage with your audience by replying to comments. Collaborate with other vloggers and consider running contests or giveaways to boost interaction.

Initially , you have to spend from pocket . That happens even in offline business.

Copy the travel shorts that are working well at the moment and monetize your more longer form content. Keep things short and to the point

Is there any shortcut to it? Any paid services for the followers base to grow....

Thanks a lot for your answers. Appreciate a lot....

Hey Good luck bro, I must recommend Pakistan to travel. It has more beautiful mountain ranges than Switzerland.

I think it will be more useful if you focus on short content under 1 minute from reels, try to make good content, share full information about real experiences, and try to optimize costs as much as possible, that's all I can share, if you go to countries like Vietnam, Thailand, etc., I think you will build a more effective brand, wish you success
