Trying to Avoid Going on Welfare

I agree that article writing is a good way to make money you need to live quickly. You do need to plan to be dedicated to interacting with your clients when you do that though. It can take a lot of commitment especially if writing isn't your strong point. Also consider offering other types of service or even be a middle man and sell someone else's services (through Fiverr, free classified sites, etc). Meatheads method also produces consistent results for those who invest the time in it.

I know from personal experience using any types of public assistance is hard and embarrassing. My husband had a really hard time with it years ago when we just hit a horrible time that was Murphy's law on steroids. Just do what you have to do while you work towards finding stable source of income. There is nothing noble about starving or ending up in the streets when you are honestly trying to find something that works. You seem to have the right mindset, some ideas, and the willingness to keep going so I am sure you will make things work and things will get better.

Just an idea:

Go to every freelance site like people per hour type and list your PPC audit, help work whatever... to get some money flowing in (even fiver) then go to other freelancing sites like guru, upwork, elance and bid , this is a bit less optimal but you got nothing to loose just write an amazing profile first and good copy when you are bidding (lots of bonuses, gurentees etc..)

Second look for a job on craigslist and other sites I see PPC jobs on indeed all the time you should be able to get one with your background

And make a good resume...
