I have a nice page, has not been doing much, just hard to convince people to enter their zip or email for a legit looking business. Well, I set up a cakesliced Coming Soon/Under Construction page. It has the clock and everything with an email submit to get on our mailing list for when we go live.

I will let you know if the conversions pick up.

That is a solid idea, I did that for a website fan page and it did quite well. We were under construction for 7 days and we got over 150 optins (name & email). * note: no promotions were running at this time. It all depends on what your fan page is about and if your business is explained easily and clearly. Otherwise why should they opt-in? Interested to see how this will work out for you. If you want shoot me a pm with url I will take a look. Getting other perspectives from those in the same industry of promoting is always a good way to go.

Here is what I did. It is cakesliced for the email and continue area. I think this could be ramped up.

I just came up with one. I have an old page about all the email submits, at the height of it, basically I was trying to get the anti-submit people. It has 2k. So, if I invite my 25K friends, add a petition for those wanting to get it stopped on FB, have them enter their name and email, too funny.

I use to have a page that had an image that each click it revealed part of the image. It was 4 pieces. Trying to find my code but I guess I could start from scratch.

Any ideas on how to best utilize it? I would think you could try to use the like script. Each time they click a 1/4, they like a page, and another part of the image is revealed.
