trying out meathead's method need some clarity

hi,

i've read meathead's method for traffic using g alerts and have a plan to carry it out. i'm know nothing about proxies and stuff, i always outsource these kinds of things. i want to create multiple accounts in a local forum to get some rep going and profit from the method. how do i go about creating the different accounts? do i have to buy proxies for this? or would public proxies suffice?

the forum is not in english so i can't pay my way out of this one. need to put some elbow grease in. thanks in advance!

Public proxies wont suffice for these kinda tasks as they're slow and go dead in few hrs if not minutes. Your best bet would be to get a VPN(which has IP's for your country) and also has addons for your browser so you can run multiple instances of browsers each logged in with different IP's.

thanks guys. i just need like 5 accounts or so? still need vpn to do that? excuse my ignorance, but i was hoping to get it done in the shortest time possible.

Having vpn would be good but for 5 accs they're not necessary. But if they banned any one of your account remaining accounts would also be under risk. So cover your ass with VPN

thanks, mate you've been very helpful. since i have limited know-how i'll just go the non-vpn route. can you recommend me any public proxies? do i just register using hidemyass? one more step and i'm good to go. thanks in advance!

Using vpn is easy and fast. Normally public proxies are slow. You can use hidemyass public proxies.

Sorry for the late bump but I have the same question, and seeing as this thread hasn't been answered I thought it could use some closure.

So, are proxies necessary for this method? Would not using proxies bring the risk of getting your home IP address banned? Thanks.

P.S. If I find the answer, I'll post it here for anybody that has the same question in the future.
P.S.S. If yes, public or private proxies?

I still don't know if getting a ban on any websites would lead to your home IP being banned forever. This is what somebody had to say in the Meathead method thread:
