Just like to do a quick survey, - as everyone of you must have downloaded hundreds of tools, softwares, ever you read terms and conditions page (privacy page etc..) or its like you always click on I Accept without reading a single line ?

True answers welcome ;)

depends from where, BUT you are right, I personally never read any of it. LOL it could say download this and go to jail!
 
99.999% Click on Accept for Download! lalalalalaaaaa
but I do read randomly ToS before I sign up something it helps to wisdomise myself a bit and on the other hand before I go to jail without getting notified at all is better I do so ^^^^

edit: by that amount what I have downloaded in the past 14 years I couldn't possibly imagine where I have been gone while reading all that stuff.

I usually just click accept... I've probably sold my soul to the devil several times by now.

I only read these when I don't really trust the website/software that I'm using.

I don't read "Terms and conditions" usually, except when I have a doubt.

And except when it's something which comes from Apple.
 
Most TOS are usually the same but I only glance/read through the ones from bigger companies. Only because they have the resources to pay a lawyer or a group of lawyers to write it for them and include vague legalize, covering every aspect unless challenged. This way they can ban you or do whatever they wish because it is stated in their TOS.

So Yes, I do skip over it at times :)
 
A TOS isnt to entertain you. If you go back a decide "Oh I'm going to sue this company for being a few days late on my order", they refer you back to the TOS.
 
Only from places I don't trust, but if given the choice I never choose "typical" or "standard" install, always go "custom" or "advanced" and at least that way they can't dump toolbars or change search providers on me.
 
Companies should be forced to translate their TOS into layman terms of 300 words or less for a birds eye view anybody can quickly understand.
