trustpilot is a scam .it’s been frustrating. Most of my honest reviews were suddenly removed without any explanation. Same thing happened with my friends and colleagues - their genuine reviews just vanished.

A friend of mine who works at Trustpilot told me they delete bulk reviews multiple times a year due to data and storage cost-cutting. If that’s how things are now, it’s honestly disappointing. It feels like real users are being sidelined, even when we’re just trying to share honest feedback. what can i do now .
 
Advertise on BHW
Get on other review sites, make sure you get reviews from your clients on those sites too.

You can even rank your pages on those review sites.
 
Yeah, Trustpilot’s getting worse. Honest reviews vanish while fake 5-stars stay up. Feels more like a PR tool than a real review site now. Total letdown.
 
And it's expensive as hell. Also it's impossible to remove bad reviews from customers thet don't fkn read your product description and get mad just because they don't like reading
 
I’d maybe ask support, but honestly? I’d just post reviews somewhere else.

I never trust anything on the internet, they got paid to do such things.

I don't think this is true, Deleting data and reviews mainly which is their main business model just for data and storgage cost cutting doesn't seems to be a wise decision.

I think there must be another reason for bulk deleting.

It’s true that Trustpilot sometimes deletes one or two older reviews, and you only notice if you check the total review count from time to time. However, if your reviews keep getting removed repeatedly, I’d suggest checking the proxy you’re using. Bad IP ranges are often flagged by the platform and can lead to reviews being taken down. It's also important to use clean browser profiles on antidetect tools like Hidemyacc or Multilogin. I once had a batch of reviews removed, but after switching to a better proxy provider, that stopped happening.

And yeah, these days Trustpilot feels more like a platform for PR than real feedback, but honestly, it's the same everywhere, whether it’s Google Maps reviews, product ratings, or anything else. Everything can be manipulated. Still, without review sites, we’d be even more in the dark, right? So I’d say, take them with a grain of salt :)
 
Same issue here—honest reviews removed without reason. Any real way to keep reviews from getting deleted?
 
Happened to me too, they said it’s “automated systems” flagging them.
 
Some of my friends also complained about this problem. If they don't improve, the number of users, especially potential customers will gradually leave it.

Your friend either doesn't work at Trustpilot, or he is lying to you.
 
Trustpilot’s review removals can be frustrating, but it’s mostly about their moderation and policies, not a scam. If your honest reviews disappear, try contacting their support with proof. Also, encourage customers to leave reviews on multiple platforms (Google, Facebook) to avoid relying on one site. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. understand Bro???
 
Review websites in general are a joke
Tons of fake reviews and those fake reviews stick
Meanwhile, many genuine reviews are deleted

Actually, data storage is a reality in terms of reviews. I am observing google, they also delete reviews when data storage go beyond the level and people say there is an update, there is an update, low quality accounts all these claims are bullshit. Specially when a listing that hasn't got a single fake review, has also seen deletion. If a single person will spam with 100 thousand reviews you can see the potential of spamming on a site. With TP your customers might have got mail why it is removed. Ask them to check and get it restored they will restore it as far as I have tested. Or else you can buy reviews from the hire a freelancer or market place.

Bro there is no way the delete reviews for cost cutting, lmfao, data storage costs them much less than logging and anti fraud logic. Content is what gives them SERP authorithy, don't be a joker.

Their algo simply sometimes catches things even from legitimate users as in friends, even if the whole IT thing is okay, it can still delete reviews because they do not reopen mails ever, too much of a velocity and interval increase of reviews, so many reasons. But not for cost cutting, there is no way, 1tb of such storage costs less than 20 bucks and thats not even tape storage.
