Trust Wallet Showing Unknown Transactions

I use Trust Wallet with several wallets. I have only used the USDC address on BNB Smart Chain to receive funds.

However, when I check the same wallet address on Blockchair, I see transactions on other networks that I do not recognize.

For example, I see activity on Optimism for the same wallet address. There is an incoming transaction worth around $6 that I do not recognize and cannot find in my Trust Wallet. I also see several transactions showing $0 as sent, which I definitely did not make.

I understand that the same wallet address can exist across different EVM-compatible networks such as BNB Smart Chain and Optimism, but I don't understand why there is activity on Optimism when I have only used this wallet for USDC on BNB Smart Chain.

Has anyone experienced the same thing? What could these transactions be? What should I do as a precaution?

It’s called dusting, happens on low gasfee chains to spam NFTs and tokens to promote sites and whatnot. Most wallets have an option in settings to hide these (sort of how a spam folder for your mail would).
