In the absence of a legally binding escrow-like arrangement, I don't believe it makes sense to operate a firm on trust.
I would rather invest my money on PayPal buyer protection because I know I can still request a refund within 60 days of the purchase without the seller's permission.
Now, if someone cannot do a task within 60 days, they may always refund first, and if I agree to the proposed extension, I can reimburse.
