In the end, neither Biden, Trump or whoever won would ban it for the entire population...there are legal precedents and reasons that would allow ByteDance to win this case

As far as I know, TikTok is only restricted in the US, not banned. So it is possible that Trump will lift the restriction of do something similar so that the platform can grow in the US

What is the restriction?

Another joke again, No one can predict actually.

Trump is unpredictable bro. Even if this sounds like a joke, he can ban it completely if he wants :D
It's one of those "promise" he makes. Even though he got persuaded by a party who invested TikTok, he is still going to ban it. I believe by next year (Jan 19 or something), the app would be completely ban or restrictive unless the case delayed it. He is not even a president yet because they need to transition stuff and tiktok has been already ban/restricted already by that time.

The area where Mr. Trump could most likely intervene would involve the part of the law that gives the president the authority to determine whether ByteDance has done enough to remove TikTok from Chinese control, Mr. Rozenshtein said. ByteDance could make some changes that would offer Mr. Trump cover to declare that those demands were met, he said. Under the law, Mr. Trump might also be able to extend the deadline by three months if his administration believed there was “significant progress” toward a sale.
Mr. Trump could potentially ask his new attorney general to refrain from enforcing the law, said Alan Rozenshtein, a former national security adviser to the Justice Department and an associate professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. But that would put technology companies like Apple and Google in a tricky position. The law penalizes companies for distributing or updating TikTok on app stores, so the tech giants would have to put a lot of faith in the Trump administration’s promise of nonenforcement.
“Trump being elected improves the conditions for TikTok a little bit,” said Ian Tang, an analyst at Capstone, a policy research firm. “It’s still an uphill battle, and there will have to be some structural change for it to remain operating in the U.S.”
Still, many experts and former employees are uncertain about how a Trump administration could alter TikTok’s trajectory based on the text and fast-approaching deadline of the law — especially as the transition team announces new appointees who are hawkish on China. It would take an act of Congress to repeal the law, they said.

Eh...well it's certainly possible. But the press didn't explain what the plan of the problem is except saying "involve the part of the law that gives the president the authority to determine whether ByteDance has done enough to remove TikTok from Chinese control" and "ByteDance could make some changes that would offer Mr. Trump cover to declare that those demands were met, he said. Under the law, Mr. Trump might also be able to extend the deadline by three months if his administration believed there was “significant progress” toward a sale." I don't like Trump politically because of his previous term but this could be impressive if possible that this could be the first app to be unbanned from the US unless there are changes that he would unban it.

Should be fine

Trump don't like TikTok at all. I guess the chances of getting banned are high.
I mean he got asked by the person who is In Republican Party who also invested in tiktok. His mind changed practically immediately. But in other world problem or US itself, he would destroy economically so..

there won't be any change infact I expect more restrictions to social media, right now facebook and instagram are cleaning the house but tiktok was never accepted by old people only youn people or anyone with 35 years or less.

Yeah. Trump victory will change a lot of things and TikTok US will be completely FREE!!!!
