Truckers to Shutdown America

Now known as 'Truckers ride for the Constitution.' Anyone heard of them? They are organizing an event this weekend.
I wonder what sort of effects this will have, and if they will really attempt to arrest a congressman. Anyway to make money from this?
It seems to me that there would be a way to make money from this, since people would be searching for it.

I hate to break the news to ya, but most of what truckers are hauling is imported from China. If they quit transporting these goods, just to congest D.C. in protest, it would actually be good for the country.

This organization says that Obama committed treason, but yet they move communist made goods around the country. There's nothing more American then moving communist made goods to store shelves so Americans can buy them and put their neighbors out of work. lol

I've been driving a truck off and on for 20 yrs. This is the first time i've heard of it. Honestly the only way anyone is going to get a massive amount of truck drivers together is to offer a free all you can eat buffet... Then when you want to make them leave, just dress up some guys to look like dentist.

Their FB page kept getting censored/taken down. I think there are more people that know about this than it seems.

If they really try to issue a citizens arrest on a congressman... they might be biting off more than they can chew! Illegal arrests are actually punished quite heavily, depending on the judge that can qualify as kidnapping and GBH.

Take over all those shipments and sell them + stop working while you have money made from those shipments, also scatter hide all those trucks so the transit network for goods would die for brief time (lowered 95%).

Goverment would have to act quickly and give out to all demands

A real truckers strike would cause massive economic damage in this country. Grocery store shelves would be empty in a week or two and industry would be screwed because of just in time shipping. That said, I don't think this thing is going to get very far, and no way they are going to let them physically seize congressmen/women. This is just another sideshow
