Hey, everyone!

I've been apart of the forum for about a month, give or take, and I have used read upon multiple threads and amazing advice thanks to the BHW community

I started up a Twitter a couple months ago in a certain niche. I've taken the advice of following users in the same niche as well as huge names to gather their followings.
Tweets with call to actions, unfollows to keep my ratio good and everything

All of these actions are done by Follow Liker

From the past 2 months, I've only gained shy of 1.5k followers. I've been watching journeys and they are well into the 100s of thousands in following.

Is there something I'm missing? I'm constantly reading up on ways to improve but, I'm finally hit a wall. Could it be I'm missing something extremely simple?

Thank you in advance!

The number of followers you gain will depend largely on how many people you are following each day. What are your FL settings? You do need to start out slow at first, so most likely you're doing fine with this account.

In the journeys, those folks are getting hundreds of thousands of followers because they're using many Twitter accounts -- not just one. You have 1,500 followers now, just about? If you had 100 Twitter accounts, you'd have just shy of 150,000. But you'd also need to be using a bunch of proxies with the accounts.

Thank you so much for the advice and reply, Hounds!

These would be my settings so far. On a good day, I can gain about 100+ followers, give or take

I noticed that as well, multiple accounts but, I'm seen journeys with just one account and still building massive followings.

1.5k followers on a new account in just a couple of months is good. Keep going, make more accounts and the massive following will come in time.

It's the thing with twitter, you get about 10% of people following you back... but it's very easy to set up multiple accounts there and run follow liker and that's why many do so.
I started slowly as well and actually was getting just under 1k followers a month as I wasn't running fl every day... but now I'm running 6 accounts and shortly I'll set up 20 more accounts so you see... as correctly mentioned about... it's all about the number of accounts.

That is an ok number of followers for a new account. Especially it is in a smaller niche.
So, you are on a good path - no reason to worry. I have had accounts that had under 1k in 2 months, but they make a good progress now when they are older.

Don't only follow, if possible, also reply to other people and retweet and like other peoples' tweets.

Of course, you can always use social exchange or buy twitter followers to inflate your numbers. When you do that then your account looks more impressive and bigger, and then people are more likely to follow you. Simple as that.

I've set an account of mine to only retweet and have almost 500 followers in the past week. So that definitely works!

I see but, another issue I'm running into is engagement

Out of the 10 tweets I make a day, all with call to actions such as "Tag a friend who does this" or "Favorite if you have or Rewteet if you hate", things like that

At most, I'll have just only a shy of a handful of engagement. Is that normal?

I'm been doing that as well. Most of my replies and retweets are manual, don't want to auto reply or auto retweet something that is out of my niche.

Just good and bad days I suppose?

You won't see much engagement with only 1,500 followers. Twitter is really a volume game. Even with tons of followers, the engagement is not as good as you see on other platforms. The difference is, you can tweet again and again and again ... much more often than you can post on other services. So it all evens out.

Ahhh, I see. Thank you so much, Hounds and thank you every one!

I see now that I just have to stick to it and not give up!

Definitely don't give up.
I run 3 twitter accounts on my IP as they are my business accounts and I never had a problem with them even though I use followliker to help me get more followers there but I post everything manually there.
Yeah, I know... engagement sucks there but it's because of the niche... I run those accounts for marketing purposes rather than to get customers.

but now I'm setting up much more accounts for a new test and they'll run on auto-pilot... I'm sure engagement will be very similar but these accounts are automated so I don't really care.

I do not have any faith in FL. I used it with very little success. Purchased a VPS and bought private proxies. It was good at first but it slowed down in a few weeks. Many of the followers were fake. Many were accounts in foreign languages. And many were not in the niche I was targeting.

Don't believe all the hype about this software. I am guessing most of these Twitter bots are the same.

Buying extra accounts in the same nice will give you the same followers. If you are targeting lots of keywords this may work but I am guessing there will be lots of overlap.

You can get bots that will follow and unfollow and help sort out your fake followers.

Just spend 10 minutes a day on your account and you will be able to build up a reliable follower following.

Now my one account is getting inundated with Arabic spam and I can't seem to get rid of it. I am ready to give on Twitter as the amount of effort involved is not worth the it anymore.

I have researched the issue of foreign spam and how to get rid of it the last few and I have found no solution.
