Trouble with connecting to VPS

I wanted to use some external app to connect to my windows vps (best portable version). I tried vcn viwer, tigh vnc and some more but cannot set them properly. Should I use ssh connection? I entered my ip, login but there was no field for password, during connection no pop up was either.

I mean it could also be working in a web browser - but the current one I use on java is really bad.
 
Are Windows VPS' shipping with SSH these days?
 
I do know know really - which software do you thing is best to connect to it? I eamn I want the clipboard to be working and weasy sending files as well.
 
Why don't you try using RDC Remote Desktop Connection? This would be the best way for you to connect as well as use the clipboard or copy and paste files.
 
Yes, that's what I was looking for - the only thing if it would be a free version - is there any similar freeware software?

Remote Desktop connection is the solution. It is included by default in every Windows computer for free. Linux and MacOS X both also have a free version of such software.
There is also Remote Desktop Connection Manager which is also produced by Microsoft and free. It is quite useful when you are using several VPS to have them memorized all in one place.

No, generally they are not ;)
 
I would use Windows Remote Desktop or TeamViewer. I don't know about any way how to use SSH with Windows OS.
 
What helped me with Rdc - control panel, credential manager, add Ip etc.
 
As mentioned in the above chats, i advise you to go for the RDP which is inbuilt in all the windows VPS. Another easy way is to use the teamviewer software, from where the transferring files and software can be done in ease. You may get many tutorials in youtube to install teamweaver and how to RDP via teamweaver.
