trouble with bing ads and CB

ok trying to figure out bing ads promoting CB...bought a domain...and tried this on bing

Display URL "my domain"
Destination URL "CB hop link"

found out you can not do this..so my question is...can i forward my domain to the CB link..and to do this do i need hosting for the domain...total newbie here..lol
i read about LP and I know i should have 1...but just tryin to get a grip on how things work first..

I would try leaving both the URL's as the domain, but redirecting the domain itself to the offer. It's another slightly more complicated way of doing the same thing.
 
put a simple javascript redirect on the domain's page.

if you're using wordpress it's probably harder tbh. (its easy)
 
dispaly url: clickbank.com
destiantion url: clickbank.com/yourproduct

That worked well for me, got many click but still, no conversions..
 
You should cloak the campaigns. You cannot simply send the traffic to clickbank affiliate page. You should either cloak the campaign or use an landing page and redirect to offer page.

That's how it works.
 
thanks guys..here is what i tried ..i took my domain and forward to the CB link...everything was fine, but after a day my ads were disapproved...so
i guess i need a LP...
 
I sell ready to go bing accounts, loaded with 100$+ coupons and can provide methods to promote on bing, pm if interested..

No, what you need is have the display domain match the final domain.

This won't work as you pointed out:

Display URL "my domain"
Destination URL "CB hop link"

because the final domain that appears once all redirects are done doesn't match the display domain.

You either need to do one of the following:

Display URL "my domain"
Destination URL "my domain"
and you cannot have it redirect elsewhere. "my domain" has to show in the browser's bar.

Or, if you want to direct link:

Display URL "domain of the hop link"
Destination URL "CB hop link"

You have a hop link that looks something like hop.clickbank.net which goes to a certain domain. Say that domain is "a cb domain". Therefore, your display and destination URL must be:

Display URL "a cb domain"
Destination URL "CB hop link"

Of course, the landing page - whether your own or the merchant's - has to follow all other Bing rules or the ad won't be approved.
 
If only it'd be so easy to place a redirect to CB and voila...
You gotta learn to pre-sell your product, especially the CB...
people might get offended for your thinking they're that dumb
 
nowadays bing went very strict as adword..
not possible for any cpa or clickbank marketers.

display url must match with landing page url..

i asked about the issue in chatting on bing assist persons.
they told that nowadays they changed the policies as above.
so, redirecting, pretty linking or clocking not possible for bing.
a separate landing page will possible... but, convertion goes very lowest..

I think most PPC and CPC networks do not appreciate this kind of thing. You do not want to do affiliate marketing for PPC as you can easily get banned even if you find a way around this temporarily. What I would suggest is promoting a squeeze page or download page where you give away a free eBook. In the eBook have the links you desire, and actually fill the eBook with good content that will help people achieve results while at the same time giving yourself the PPC marketing campaign you need for affiliate marketing purposes.
 
I just got ban on bing ads :( .Can i get a refund on prepaid balance i have on that account? Anyone had similar problems?
