Hey guys. I made an autoblog just about a week ago and even though I'm working to keep it regularly updated, I end up just getting traffic (small) in bursts(whenever I post). For the record, I'm posting some links to Stumbleupon, reddit, linkedin, etc. I did submit my site to google and made a sitemap. Is there anything that I could possibly be doing wrong?

EDIT: Should I get adsense before I begin getting constant traffic? Or just wait it out.

Dude, as previously stated, I'm posting backlinks on most of my posts with the best keywords. Is there anything else or do I just wait it out?

There are many things you can do to increase traffic. Have you tried twitter? Add a twitter tools plugin that will create a tweet every time you add a new post to your blog. You can get the free version of Tweet Attacks in the download section that will allow you to follow and unfollow twitter users. I have many autoblogs set up this way and I get thousands of visitors a month from twitter. Go read "My Twisted Autoblog Method" in the Blogging section here. It explains it in detail.

You could also check the services section and find people who will create web 2.0 sites and profiles with backlinks using SENuke. There are people who will create xrumer links, BMD links.

Go to the download section and get Power Article Rewriter. You can write an article and spin it or have someone here (check services section) write you spun articles. Then use Power Article Rewriter and create dozens of unique articles to submit to the top article directories for more links and traffic.

With all of the resources here on BHW getting a lot of traffic is not hard.

Thank you, I really appreciate your help. I'm going to go get right on that.

You should definitely wait to get adsense. Start getting good consistent constant traffic first for sure. At least that is what all the autoblog "experts" here on black hat said. lol
