Trouble Connecting to WP with FTP Client

I wanted to try to use an autoblog I found in these forums, but I can't log into wordpress with Filezilla or smartftp. So, I wanna know what i'm doing wrong. For the hostname, do you put your websites url? And the user and pass is your account info for your site right?

If it is the same as mine your host name is ftp.blahblah.com and then username is user name for wp and password is ******

Ugh, doesn't work for me... I put ftp.l1nkown.wordpress.com and entered my account info. No luck.

in your url when you go to the site does it say wordpess in the url??

You can't ftp to wordpress.com - you have to have WordPress installed on your own domain, if you want to be able to ftp.
