TripAdvisor URL on SERPS

Hi,

Whats the likelihood for pushing down a negative TripAdvisor discussion thread?

Its for a major car rental company. Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin company pages cannot compete.

Is there anything else I could try?

It can certainly be suppressed (possibly removed). Twitter, FB and LinkedIn might not be ranking now, but they certainly can "compete". I checked Hertz, Avis, and Budget car rental and all three have one or more of those three social profiles ranking.

The overall goal should be great content on authoritative sites. Once you have that you can work on promoting and pushing those sites up to displace the negatives.
