Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has a whitehat/blackhat (I don't mean hacking by blackhat) solution to TripAdvisor, either for ranking yourself better on it or bringing competition down. I know about creating reviews from different IP's or posting negative on others, I was just wondering if there is a better way. Hope you can help.

Which product/site do you want to promote on Tripadvisor?
 
I use trip advisor pretty heavily to drive traffic, but can't really help you with what you're asking. BUT I do have a few aged, respected accounts I may be willing to help you with if we can come to some mutually beneficial agreement.
 
use some community driven site which they can do it for few cents ..
 
Our directory is ranking well send me a PM an I will send you the link. we just changed the interface, and you can ad your business there, and I will give you a Star, and few other goodies.

We are trying to start a community that has all the interested parties to do reviews through real ip addresses from all around the world > skype predators_eye

I can help you if you're offering enough dough to keep me interested. You need aged accounts for your purpose.
 
It's like saying you want to rank in Google without links.

TripAdvisor gathers the reviews/experiences from everyone and makes recommendations. One way or another, if you want to be suggested more often, you need more people sharing their best experiences at your location.
 
Man i will never ever trust those reviews again, fu*k i used to always book accommodation based on those damn reviews
 
for to rank in tripadvisor you need a STEADY & ONGOING incoming stream of at least 4, better 5 star reviews coming from diverse ip regions. also the no. of words used to review play a role. the longer the better.

They are still pretty reliable from my experience. I think they give more weight the longer a person is a member and has activity, and have some other mechanisms to keep it clean from spammers. Not saying it's impossible, just not so easy that everyone is doing it.
