I'm not offering medical advice LOL but it's just an option open to anyone who has the desire to research it. You will hear meat only diet/standard is so bad or plant only diet is bad so with this conflict we must choose what we think is best for our own bodies. Some get ripped and healthy from animal foods and some with plant food only. Some people die YOUNG who are in perfect psychical health. I think it's best for us as individuals to find which "diet" works for us best. If i were to choose meat and eggs etc. I'd go directly to the source and not to the convenient stores which have mostly injected meats and caged chickens etc. Closer to natural state and no processing is best if you choose to go that route.
Don't want to touch into the "moral" side of things but if you see any of the footage of the massive waste lands created by automating the suffering and slaughtering of cows, it's mind blowing. That alone. It literally looks like the 4 horsemen have ridden there and left a lake of blood and feces behind. We can't be worried for the Earth because the Earth will protect itself when it senses things have gone too far. All she really needs to do is erupt yellow stone and bring in a few massive floods and wipe out mostly all of us. Think about that. Prevention is always key. Also one thing i am hurt deeply by is how Pigs are often killed. Conveyor belts, dipped into boiling water, thrown onto spinning blades that remove all the skin in seconds. All while the poor creature is
ALIVE. It truly sickens me we were taught as children to speak their language and love them yet these animals are ended in the most unimaginable ways. But of course most people now a days have no soul or care for other sentient beings because they believe they are ONLY meant as food. Any volunteers here who want to be a human-pig and fill my plate full of bacon? It will hurt but it will make you taste delicious
That seems just about the worst way to go for ANY creature that can experience pain.
As for carbs some react worse to carbs than others. Though i think the source of carbs plays a big role. Most vegans i like to follow and get advice from certainly don't limit themselves on the carbs that come from fruits and veggies. I've noticed my intake of fruit and veggies has gone up and i never get bloated and i feel much better than if i ate a hamburger or two. I get full with a simple smoothie of Kale, Banana, Collard Greens and Kiwi. Some need to experiment with this and try different sources of carbs to see how it affects them.
For the "hair falling off" thing going on here, maybe the girl was deficient in minerals by
limiting her intake of these foods. She would have needed to consume more legumes in order to get the recommended amounts of L-lysine.
They also need to eat more plant foods that contain heaps of iron which can be found in Collard Greens, Kale, Beets, beans, Spirulina and dried fruit. You can also get it in Nuts and Seeds. Eat liberally. This problem could have stemmed from rapid weight loss as well or even thyroid problems. There are many factors but most times vegans believe they have to eat a small amount of plant foods and fruits when in reality it's quite the opposite. Lower in calories means you can eat them abundantly. And that is what most vegans recommend (those healthy 40+ year strong vegans). All the Vegan videos I've seen of people saying they had problems when trying a raw diet was because they LIMITED their intake of fruits and veggies in an effort to 'lose weight' faster. Big no no.
Most vegans (noobs) will think i only need to eat one banana and one apple per day and boom, all the nutrients in the world and i will be healthy. That's not the best way to go about it. You got to 10x that shit because the low calories in these foods means it's ok to take more and you certainly need more than just a couple servings. Also it says a lot more about you for abandoning someone in need like that. I thought it was a joke when you first mentioned it.
Penumbra, that is mainly the reason why i have done this. Now I've read many studies and such that show that some animal fats such as grass fed butter and such can be good. But right now I'm getting that from avocados and nuts/seeds. You wouldn't believe the amount of problems i had prior to starting this. The palpitations and lack of sleep alone made it a complete nightmare. I don't plan to stop this at all and i will update every month to share my progress for those interested for health reasons. It's all for the health. Who knows there might be another 21 year old on here who is suffering and will make a change to eat more raw foods and get his/her health back. Nothing could be more rewarding to me.
Cheers
