Tried eating Vegan..

Maybe i would want drugs for the pain. However not the drugs from the pharmaceutical industry.

LOL There is no maybe about it. You'll be begging for drugs. And yes, we are pre-programmed to die. If we don't die from any other cause, the big C kills us sooner or later. Stop reading junk from natural news and take a science class.

I'm not arguing that eating healthy is wrong. It's good, but there is also a placebo effect where people say "I'm cutting out x to get healthy" and they tell themselves they feel better because of the changes in their diet. Of course if you cut out mcdonalds, you're eating healthier and you will lose weight, but so many people sit their lazy asses in front of a computer and say "i'm eating healthy" and don't move. You want to have energy and be healthy? Get off your ass and go exercise.

What you are feeling is the "cleanup" effect from stopping your previously bad diet - it's your body thanking you ;)

That said, vegan diet is good but (I hear) damn hard to get it done right. Most vegans I know do it for the ideology and not because it's the most efficient diet ever. So props for changing diets, good luck with doing the vegan one but don't be shy to adjust it if your body tells you so.

Exactly what I wanted to say :D

You feel good and energized because you're on a good diet not because you've gone vegan.

I felt the same when I lost 20kg of pure fat 2 years ago.

I wish I could get rid of my love affair with carbs. :| Mine is terrible. I get out and exercise every damn day but I cannot stay away from carbs. I tried cutting them completely the last week. I lasted two days. Then I just went berserk.

It's not sugar or candy. It's carbs, specifically rice and bread. I don't need sweets. I just want rice and bread. :|

Yeah, yeah, eat healthier, less processed bread, blah blah blah. Anyone who goes vegan gets my applause (As long as you don't preach to me. I hate that shit.) bc that is some serious willpower right there. I can't even give up bread. I can't imagine giving up bacon or cheese. I'd go terminal.

Dunno but my Ex was a vegan and she started to loose hair so I left her.

Why was she losing her hair? Was it genetic? Or bc she wasn't getting enough nutrients in her diet?

I have cut carbs but not totally. Carbs are good for energy and brain power. I also eat red meat just about every day. A good steak and broccoli is my main lunch. I exercise hard for an hour 5 times a week, and I feel amazing.

We don't know the OP's genetics and what he was eating before, so you have to take these epiphany posts with a grain of salt. If he was eating $1 cheeseburgers from mcdonals every day and then flipped his diet, then of course he suddenly feels great. But he would have felt great had he just eaten better quality meat. Maybe he has a predisposition we don't know about. There are too many genetic factors to take posts like this seriously.

Yeah, I've met a few hardcore vegetarians/vegans/whatever and a couple of them were gross and jaundice.

No idea why but seriously now this was not the problem. The only place she wanted to go was the Tea House... she goes to bed at 18pm and wakes up at 6am in the morning for no reason... the only topic she wanted to discuss was Vegan food... she never goes to parties ... drinks only SPECIAL VEGAN WATER :X aka. like W130SN wrote "Unfortunately a lot of people who start living a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle become boring as f#ck she was boring as hell.

+ she was calling me almost everyday crying because of problems with her stomach and that she couldn't sleep all night/ hair loss / bad mood / nightmares etc. I WAS LIKE "DAMN GIRL forget about the vegan life, taste my sausage and your life will be happy" but she won't listen so I left her.

So you don't want to eat some cardboard tasting soy and get some manboobs? That proxy guy might love you more.

Not when he finds out I've ate dog before. But hey, who cares if he like you or not.

I actually do not mind some of that fake meat shit, it's not too bad.

I've always admired vegans who do it for the diet aspect and not just because eating meat is "morally wrong." There is no way on earth I will ever get rid of meat. I do have a serious problem with carbs though. I am not kidding. I will eat like 10 servings of carbs a day. That's a problem, and I do need to cut that out. I'm not giving up any type of pork or cheese, although I don't eat red meat. It doesn't agree with me. Feels like I ate a boulder.

So yes, everyone is different. The girl that was losing her hair probably wasn't getting enough nutrients through her vegan diet. I know plenty of healthy vegans, but I know some really unhealthy ones too. My sister has a friend that's vegan and she is always sick. She has severe upper respiratory problems, she's allergic to perfume and about 30 other things, and she has to wear a charcoal mask out in public.

My mom told her that her health problems stem from not getting enough protein, and she needs to "eat a cheeseburger." I just think she needs to see a doctor, but I don't think mom is far off. Neither one of us are health professionals, but some people just aren't meant to be vegans. Your body will tell you if your diet isn't right for you.

I have only ever met two before who I know to be hardcore, and this was the impression I got.

They looked colourless and lifeless. Eyes like a heroin addict.

fake meat is some of the most processed foods out there lol but yea bro switching from a whatever diet (S.A.D) to a more healthy diet will obviously bring results. Let me know how it works long term tho. I believe 40% of india are vegetarian and they have the most dietary related deaths in the world. Vegan diet might be lacking some nutrients.

Me personally I just cut out processed foods, exercise, drink water and have a positive mindset.

I've been a vegetarian since 4 months back and I gotta say, I got way more energy nowadays.

I don't know if I could handle being a vegan though, due to the fact that I love cheese too much. But if there is a substitute close to that coming out I will become a vegan 100%.

In Sweden there is actually a company called Oatly that have made a really good-tasting oatmeal-milk that is delicious. Check it out on Amazon if you want to order some yourself - seems to be damn expensive due to the shipping costs - it costs just a few cents more than milk here in Sweden though.

I think it's really healthy for the body, but not for the mind.

Too much fast food ads EVERYWHERE.

Chemical staff can be easily replaced by natural medecine.
Its no hidden secret that todays medecine is based on natural medecine where the components have been changed into chemical ones to maximise profits.

She was telling me almost everyday that eating meat is against humanity etc etc etc. I got tired of this bullsh*t ... dunno what is Vegan Water she was buying it from a Bio Shop and looked like a normal bottle of water...
I remember 1 thing ... when we went to the supermarket there were normal bananas and next to them "bio" bananas ( with vegan sticker on them ). The only difference was that the so-called "bio" bananas had a green Bio sticker and double price. So my gf was always buying the "bio" bananas, telling me that the other normal bananas were fake and full with chemicals. BUT one day when we were talking on the phone she told me " Hey do you know what happened ? ( she was really happy) I went to a Bio grocery store and there were normal green apples and bio green apples, so I removed secretly the bio stickers from the apples and I bought them as normal apples" I was like DAFUQ ??? One day I will open a grocery store and put normal apples/ bananas/ oranges etc. and next to them "bio" apples/ bananas/ oranges just gonna put Vegan stickers on them :D

Check the water under microskop and you will see the diffrence.
Real water is living water where you get full beatifull cristall when freezing them. The other water is dead water with destroyed cristalls.
Also good water has no fluor which is not natural but a industrial waste and harming your brain.

Lmao.

Dude, I'd have dumped her too. If all you want to talk about is how eating meat is wrong and you're dating someone who eats meat, you're gonna have a bad time.
