And to be completely honest i'm actually feeling better than i ever have in my entire life. I know a week of eating raw foods such as fruits vegetables and nuts/seeds is not long at all, but i do feel the positive effects from this short time in. Migraines are disappearing as well as palpitations and etc. I intend to stick to this for the rest of my days! I've been eating vegetables like Kale & collard greens, almonds and walnuts, and all kinds of fruits and vegetables. I also eat some meatless meat made from pea protein. I have an oatmeal every morning which i add a blended apple & banana that makes a nice thick consistency and it makes the oatmeal so delicious, without all the added chemicals and shit.

2015 was the worst year for me in terms of health, and i'm only 21. Since February I've had some pretty bad symptoms that arise from eating the standard american diet (so fucking S.A.D.) including high blood pressure and many other ailments that caused my suffering and piled up thousands of $'s in medical bills that brought me no answer. Why do the send someone home with a dangerously high blood pressure (i think it was 155/97) like it's nothing? I guess they will say that to those who don't believe in pills and pharmaceuticals, which i absolutely made clear. I despise this industry. I don't ever use those over the counter name brands any more. If you get a sore throat or diarrhea, ALL you need is a clove or two of raw garlic. Smash that baby up with a spoon to activate the Allicin. This shit burns when you chew on it but don't sit there and cry about it, just deal with it and i promise you that your sore throat or watery shits will be gone with 24 hours every time.

To me it just seems Doctors don't want us to acquire our health 100%. Because if that was so, it means they have less and less people to treat. Not saying all doctors are evil, but they surely are taught very differently as to what real health is. A doctor simply has to say "eat fruits veggies and nut/seeds" and your health WILL change. I love profit guys, but not the kind that accumulates from the suffering of PEOPLE. Our OWN people. That is the kind of profit that people should be hanged for.

At least it would be so in a world that i ruled.

Anyways, any Vegans here on BHW? I'm a newbie, but so far it's going amazing i have no intentions of stopping. I'm actually sowing some vegetable seeds and soon i will have a nice harvest of spinach and Kale (lovely winter crops). I wanted to share because Health is so important for all of us. We're eating food designed to degrade our bodies to the suffering level. I just can't see a life worth living if you are feeling sick, diseased, and tired of it your entire life. We all deserve to be at superior health so that we can thrive in all that we do including internet marketing and our personal lives/relationships.

EAT LIFE, GET LIFE. Quite the opposite for food that's been processed to hell. Would love to hear some thoughts on the subject.
*I'm not bashing meat eaters guys i'm just stating my opinions/story on what it's been like for me eating whole foods thus far and what 'standard food' did for me. We all have our own choices to make and they are solely up to us. Do your research and find the facts and take action on them.

Cheers

Eh. Not vegan but I do enjoy vegan food. My sister is allergic to milk so I eat a lot of gluten-free and vegan stuff. We even go to vegan restaurants a couple of times a year. I just love food though. As long as you don't tell me what it is I'll eat it.

I agree that there's lots of natural remedies to stuff too. I use oregano oil, garlic and raw honey for almost everything. I also have two aloe plants. When the leaves fall off I use the aloe for my hair, skin and nails. There's stuff in nature that is way more powerful than what the phrama companies are producing, and they don't come with deadly side effects. Just my two cents though.

We'll see how much you hate the pharma industry and refuse pills when you get the big C and you're sitting in extreme pain.

Honestly i'll die before letting that industry give me anymore man made shit. Of all the vegans I've researched and follow, all are doing great 10+ years in and even 40+ years.

I agree. I had the same mindset. Anything that tastes amazing, eat it haha. But vegan food can certainly taste great as well. I make a zucchini spaghetti and it's beyond amazing. Appreciate the info, may add those to my garden someday :)

90% of our current health problems come from eating processed food. We are literally eating cancer.

Its crazy because people are so use to eating shit food that makes them feel like shit they don't even know they feel like shit because they feel like that all the time.

Glad to hear your story :)

Ah to be 21 and clueless. I miss it. The big C gets everyone sooner or later. You'll want drugs for that pain.

The big C doesn't get us, we get ourselves.

Chemicals everywhere on a daily baises.

These scientist say x chemical is safe at x levels.

Now while it might be safe just imagine eating or being around it on a daily bases for YEARS.

It adds up and pretty much everything we eat or clean with has some shit in it.

Are you seriously implying cancer from natural foods? If you mean Cancer coming on from the YEARS of intake on the processed foods and chemical injected animals that we eat, i understand. Clueless, no. Well researched & informed, yes. You misjudge someone just for being 21 years old. Being brainwashed or misled longer means it's harder to accept the truth when you hear it.

Maybe i would want drugs for the pain. However not the drugs from the pharmaceutical industry. Cannabis is FAR better than any of those addictive pills that cause an alarming number of overdoses and unwanted side effects (sometimes fatal). I always find myself cursing at the pill ads when they start the "this may cause some fatal reactions blah blah" i mean it's insane people still take them when they say it to your fucking face. That's the price of being ignorant and not doing the research that leads you to the facts they don't teach you about, ever. Cannabis from my experience is amazing for pain. You can ask any smoker here and i'm certain they'd choose it over some nasty pills. I am not relying on drugs to cover up the symptoms of the underlying cause any longer. I have turned to natural foods. And so far it has been amazing. If i have cancer, or do get it, i will simply make a trip to my friends place up in Seattle to start taking some Rick Simpson Oil and come back a cancer free clueless kid and laugh at your statement.

My hate for pharmaceuticals stems from this basic fact: it is more likely to kill you than save you. Not to mention the profits they make from children and sick people. It also came from the realization that i was once a user and supporter of these so called 'medicines' and now that i know how dangerous they are, I don't support them and exude my hate for them loud and clear.

I agree. And also the fact 1 in 2 of us will die from CHD (usa) or it actually might be 1 in 3 but STILL! It comes from what we put in. I used to be eh about fruits and vegetables but now that i know it REALLY is that simple, it changes everything. I honestly haven't felt a need for sugar in all week, processed sugar that is. Mainly because I'm getting more fruit which has that good natural sugar in it. Not having palpitations or nasty migraines is already more than i could have ever imagined achieving with raw food. I'm sure my next blood check up will show amazing results. Every other time i have tried to eat healthy it always involved the animal products and processed foods in some way. Now i'm sticking as closely as i can to whole foods. Surely it costs more but like everything else find where to best put your money and you will see the returns.

Our health will always guarantee an ROI the more we put into it :)

I've definitely never gone vegan, but I've noticed a *huge* improvement in my mood and energy levels since I started drastically reducing the number of carbs that I eat.

Without a noticeable number of carbs, after a meal, I feel revitalized and energetic rather than lethargic and unmotivated, even if the meal itself was nothing extraordinary.

Toughest part is resisting the urge to order pizza when I don't want to cook.

Being vegan is something I might consider too sometimes, carbs make me feel like shit.

It's really great health wise but I don't think I can do that. I'm a big seafood fan, mostly those unhealthy stuff like prawns, squid and carbs. Don't eat processed meat, beef or pork much though.

What you are feeling is the "cleanup" effect from stopping your previously bad diet - it's your body thanking you ;)

That said, vegan diet is good but (I hear) damn hard to get it done right. Most vegans I know do it for the ideology and not because it's the most efficient diet ever. So props for changing diets, good luck with doing the vegan one but don't be shy to adjust it if your body tells you so.

A Vegan diet can be very beneficial to health, and has a lot of positives.
Unfortunately a lot of people who start living a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle become boring as f#ck so what watch out for peoples eyes start to glaze over if you start preaching.
Good Luck with it, don't think I could do with out my regular intake of sausage.

Im 21 and I have also had very bad health problems for 2015. I turned vegan a few months and have been trying to follow the diet since :)
Guys its not carbs causing the problems or making you feel bad, vegans often you need to eat more carbs its just all the processing and sugar that's really bad for you.
My MAIN health issues were coming from DAIRY..... ANYONE That has eczema, rosacea, cyctic acne, blocked sinuses, constant mucus its from dairy. Trust me cut dairy out COMPLETELY like not even milk chocolate and you'll notice results within that week :D

I also lost a ton of unwanted weight like i was never fat. but I went from being 75-80kg to 68kg

I have done alot of research on health since mine got really bad at the age of 21 if anyone needs advice or help , message me il see if i can help
