I have recently been approved to Audible.com's affiliate program, which is great, but I haven't seen much in the way of sales yet.

My question now is... would I still get commission through my Amazon Associates ID if I linked to the Audible audiobook section of a sales page on Amazon? (example here: http://www.amazon.com/Steve-Jobs-Th...tmm_aud_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1328778138&sr=8-1) ///THAT'S NOT AN AFFILIATE LINK BTW///

On Amazon they offer the user a book for free if you sign up with a free trial on Audible through them. Would I get a commission for this through Amazon associates if the user signed up or even just bough the book? I know on Audible's affiliate scheme I get $25 for a registration, or 10% of the value of a book if they by it on its own, but I'm not sure if I'd get anything through my Amazon ID?

Hope that makes sense??? Would be great if someone can share their insight?

    Hi,

My name is Karen, I manage the Audible Affiliate Program.

First thing to keep in mind is Audible Affiliate Program and Amazon Associates Program are completely separate programs, with separate tracking.

You will only get commission through Audible and not through Amazon because all Audible transactions take place off Amazon. Therefore, your Amazon associates ID does not help generate any additional revenue by linking through Amazon.
