Triathlin Shop

Hi. My boss asked me to manage his triathlon shop (swim bike & running gears).

We have an FB with 5k likes, website is pretty much so so. I suggested we sell online any ideas on which shopping cart to use or any suggestions to improve sales? I was also thinking of joining an affiliate marketing group like com junc.

I'm kinda lost a little...any suggestion would be appreciated. Ty ty.

I don't manage eCommerce websites, but I have a couple of suggestions for you.

• Considering you suggested selling online to him, I'm going to assume the website isn't currently setup in a way that would allow users to buy from the website. You can try setting up a new WordPress site with WooCommerce. • Here's a referral marketing oldie but goldie. You should be able to use that method with your boss' FB business page.

I second WooCommerce, easy to set up nowadays as they have introduced a setup wizard, very versatile and free

As mentioned by the two BHW members already, WooCommerce is your best bet. Apart from that, you should focus on driving traffic to your Facebook page and site. Build quality leads with Inbound Marketing. It means having a consistent blog that provides information to the user, holding contests, polls and surveys on your FB page and posting engaging content to get more leads.

You can definitely go for Affiliate as well but even that takes time. Focus on SMM with Instagram, Pinterest and Google Ads as well.

Appreciated the links and suggestions. OK will look into woocommerce for wp as you guys suggested (thank you again ). I will also create an IG account for the store. FYI, we have a good high-end bike mechanic and a good percentage of sales comes from services, like bike repairs, maintainace, etc. And would love to really sell whole bikes, parts and run/swim accessories.
