I'll be traveling to Europe for the first time soon. Going to Paris, Amsterdam and then explore parts of England before ending at Scotland. What are the nice places to visit? Any other input is definitely welcomed!

If you're music nerd like me you should check out Lemellotron in Paris. It's a bar/radio-station with great music from different genres. And shop some Vintage clothing!

Not advice but paris has to be the most disappointing city in europe, It gets romanticized way too much. Personally i avoid it whenever i can especially the airport.

Amsterdam is neat though lots of cool shit there.
Hint near the central train station is a nutelleria (bakery that specializes in nutella)
also a shit ton of weed everywhere.

Yeah I am! Love to chill out to some good, mellow music. Also, vintage clothing is a must!!

Honestly barcelona is 100x better than paris in every way, it has to be one of the better cities in EU, but I guess its not easy to change plans and head down there instead.
Lol seems like every guy outside of EU promises their GF to go to paris.

also in amsterdam take a look online for concerts there is one pretty much every weekend with a well known band/artist, it's usually affordable and always easy to get too.

I'll definitely go to Barcelona some day! Maybe watch Barca play too haha. What concerts have you been to in Amsterdam? My friends and I want to visit the redlight district lol.

I've heard Blackpool is the Las Vegas of North West England. Full of slot machines and prostitutes, but not as glamourous.

Nutella is disgusting.

Set your sites higher. You don't travel to another continent to eat something that tastes like you're licking the ground.

I moved back to NL for about a year and I spend my thursdays to sundays working and going out drinking in a place just outside of amsterdam (15mins from central station with the train) in haarlem.
enjoyed myself so much there I didn't make it too any concerts, I did have plans to go to a few after my shift ended and hitting a few bars but each time i tried i got too drunk and forgot about it. lol
You'll like NL though nice party atmosphere wednesdays to sundays.

Had a hell of a time there working and going out when i lived there, barely made it to amsterdam, even though i lived so close.

In The UK we have some big stones in the middle of a windswept field, to make it sound interesting we named it Stonehenge, just for the tourists.
If you get bored with some big rocks there are some sheep nearby.
Worth a look

I've never been there, but I'm guessing people go there expecting everyone to be wearing berets, eating smelly cheese, playing Bal-musette around every corner, and saying "Oui Oui" to everything, right?

Oh, and rats that are chefs, like in Ratatouille.

something like that, but most people picture paris to be exactly like it is in the movies. the hype is so bad now that people can get "paris syndrome"

Paris syndrome! I'm adding that one to my armchair psychology handbook!
It is characterized by a number of psychiatric symptoms such as acute delusional states, hallucinations, feelings of persecution (perceptions of being a victim of prejudice, aggression, or hostility from others), derealization, depersonalization, anxiety, and also psychosomatic manifestations such as dizziness, tachycardia, sweating, and others, such as vomiting.
This is classic! Psychosomatic manifestations over discovering they watch too many television programmes!

Humans man, what the hell!? :D
