I would suggest Ahrefs, SEMrush (or) Moz Keyword Explorer, and KWFinder are the best tools for keyword searchers.

I'll suggest not to have another travel blog like the rest of them. make it unique by lets say Extreme vacations, Private Yacht vacation, traveling to the east or Africa. etc. you get my point.
Then you will have a specific niche to focus on and the keywords will be easier to find also the competition will be easier.

Hi, there is already a bunch of recommendations from using Google's Keyword Planner tool to looking for trendy queries in Quora, so pretty sure you already got it covered. But did you consider monetizing your blog with affiliate links as well?

As far as AdSense allows placing such ads along with its ads on the same page and it doesn’t violate the AdSense policies, it's a winning strategy in either way.
