Hey
I want to start a travel vlog on youtube and also try to monetize it.
what do you think, better is to start freshly or buy, already monetized travel channel and continue with that? and what are the prices of channels like that?
Thanks

Prices would depend on the size of the channel, as well as the age & engagement it’s getting. I’ve seen monetized channels with tier 1 GEO traffic go for from $50 for a smaller size channel.

Overal if you’re seriously looking at building something genuine you’re better of building your own from scratch, atleast on YT.

Travel niche are not popular like before and can be start with new fresh channel with good promotion on other pages and groups to share link of channel with upload quality content videos for subscribers and viewers growth.

Buying a monetized channel sounds like a shortcut but for travel content it rarely works out imo. The old videos won't match your content and the audience isn't yours, so watch time and engagement usually tank once you switch niches. Better to build fresh honestly, especially if you actually enjoy travel vlogging.

If you really wanna buy just to skip the monetization requirements, fine, but make sure the subs and views are real and tier 1... plenty of bought channels are stuffed with junk traffic that gets you nowhere.

i would like to do it from scratch bcz travel vlogs r not all about the number of subscribers but connecting with people who love ur way of traveling. purchassing a monetized channel would be an easy option but it comes with a certain amount of risk. U might get a channel with subscriibers who have no interest in ur kind of videos.

The price actually depends on the number of subscribers on the channel and GEO views / demographics. What's your target audience?

Thanks for replies!
any marketplace where can I check these account, their prices, categories and so on? sites like fameswap

Buying a monetized travel channel can save time, but only if the audience, content style, and traffic sources closely match what you plan to publish. Otherwise, views and revenue often drop after the ownership and content shift.

I want to find travel acc with mostly who posted shorts vlogs, cause I'm planning to stick with shorts too.

A bought channel might have numbers but the audience may not care about your content building your own audience takes longer, but its much more stable.
