Translating my articles into another language, any problem?

Hi, I got hundreds of articles. Would like to translate them manually into another language and post them. The content, structure etc. would all be the same, just in a different language.

Will I face any problem doing this? Regarding indexing, ranking etc.?

Would like to hear some opinions/experiences

Generally there shouldn't be any problem.

Interested in doing the same but a bit afraid. From what i understand a manual translation is fine - as long as it does not end up similar to a google translate result it will not be considered as duplicate, but again have not tried it yet.

Be aware some blogs post their articles in different languages automatically through Google.
 
I guess the keyword research for each language and their implementation should be done?
 
I did pay to translate some articles in my blog, made sure that they are genuine translators.
This had an considerable positive impact on the according population, in time the effect faded , i believe that this is because i did not continue to work with these languages.

Also at the time i was not doing proper keyword research but was creating unique content of relevant topics.

I am thinking of resuming it, this time doing proper keyword research.

Yes no prob but checking keywords and content not change means of articles
 
should be fine as long as you're actually doing them manually. otherwise they won't translate in a way that makes sense.
 
I don't see any problem in that. Just try to pay attention to the keywords.
