Hello BHW. I need your help...again...
English is not my first language, so it's not so good. It is a little hard to write content for my english blog, so here is what I want to do.
I want to write an article in my native language, using useful information from different website, and then translate it using a software (google translate is the best... i think). Then I will take the translated article and I will ask a professional native english speaker to proof read and correct it for me.
Can Google see that i use translated content? Is there a risk?

If you find a good editor, then translated content is not a problem. By the way, you can PM me the details (how long are the articles, quantity of the articles, the payment) as I'm currently looking for some extra work and I do have quite a bit of experience in proofreading and editing articles.

Why not just hire an English speaking writer? You'll spend just as much for a good editor as you will a good writer.

Agree with BH there are good quality writers who are reasonably priced although it may take the fun out of writing it for yourself if that's what you want to do.

Well, an editor charges me about $2 for 1.000 words. And this way i can use my keyword and keyword variations as I like. I bought some articles from marketplace for $7-$10/1.000 words, but I received some articles that i could wrote myself. Nothing special and low SEO.

No that is not the good method at all. Better after translate found someone who will edit your text for a very cheap price.

Anyway, can google see that I translated the text using google translate? I don't want to get penalized for low quality content.

If you write the original content then it's not a problem to use GT. If you're getting the final articles proof read then that's even better.

I'm sure you've thought of this, but if your english isn't that amazing why don't you just start a blog in your first language? You could rank it in the countries where your language is spoken. No doubt the competition would be easier than it would be in english.

Clearly he wants to save money on content creation because he is resorting to software translation for content development. You can also throw in the question are you creating mutiple versions of your website in terms of content?

Adsense CPC is low in my country. And why I should target only 20 millions people, when i can go word wide.

I made a pure spam site out of translated content, translated into several European languages. Long story short, it made good money off long tail shit.

I did the same. I made 3 sites that I translated with GT from scraped English content to Bulgarian. They were all in the diet niche and I ranked on the 1st page of Google for almost all the KWs I planned to use. Just used Adsense to monetize.
