What is the chance that Google find my content as plagiarism if I translate it from English to Germany? Should I spin it too?

If you will be using google translate - 100% :). If you will translate by hand - 0%.

Hey @YAML

After translation, you will use Grammarly. Your content is 100% unique. No plagiarism.

If I use deepl pro to do the translation and then put it through Grammarly would this help.
I'm thinking of doing the following.

1. Find keywords in English.
2. Translate them to other languages e.g Dutch, French , Spanish etc.
3. Search for content in these languages.
4. Translate content back to English with deepl pro.
5. Use Grammarly + AI software (conversion.ai, peppertypre, longshot etc.)

Do you think this would work? Is it a good strategy to follow?

If your translated content passes copyscape check you can use it anywhere you like.
I know you will say google can easily detect it and that's true but It doesn't work that way.
I have been using G translate for filler content for many years now and it works.
I have even created monetized and flipped a few amazon affiliate websites with this method.
Although I don't use it much now since the Jarvis AI content tool works far much better.
My Autoblogs still use it and it works same as always.

Always remember any content good or crap quality can Rank in SERPS if optimized properly.
So content optimization is the key here.

by "optimized properly" you mean the usual on-page SEO (alt image tags, keyword in subheading and first paragraph, etc) or is there something else to it?

Yes exactly any type of autogenerated content that's optimized properly works well.

For example: I had a camera review website which was purely translated content Total 20K words.
Without any optimization it was ranking in 11 to 30 for many keywords.
Then I spent some time in keyword research and optimization of all articles.
After that I did some foundation link building Web 2.0, Bookmarks, Profiles, Doc and Video shares.
3 Keywords moved into top 10 and apart from those in top 10 most other keywords moved between 11 to 20.

thanks for clearing this up :)

Translated content ranks fine. I have several page 1 rankings. Just make sure you mix sources so you don’t get DMCA notices.

From what I've read, it isn't possible currently to get penalized for translated content. I have never heard of a case where this has happened, just some intermittent cases where it is considered plagiarized (mainly because someone else is already using the same content...funnily enough, that's actually what you need to watch out for when using translated content). However, google certainly has the technology to track this if they were so inclined and they may release a update in the future penalizing this. That's why most people are cautious when using this technique.

I am using translated content for many money sites. translated via deepl pro. Ther german outcome is great. All sites are indexed and rank.
To me there is no problem. Always have the copyright in Germany in mind...

I also have to put translated content in one of my blogs. But I am not getting good software for English to Assamese translation. Only Bing translator has this feature, but the quality of translation is not good.

I think it doesn't as long as you replace some words.

Translated content works just fine, you don't need to spin it,
it will get indexed and rank just like any other content,
Just make sure to make a manual review to get a better conversion rate
