    Hi guys,

Just sold one of my apps and my coder has gone AWOL so trying to transfer ownership to my buyer.

I've added him as a developer but he doesn't have access to facebook.com/myapplink/admin - how do I edit those permissions?

Rep and thanks to the first to tell me

    Thanks!

I've done that - they are added as a developer but don't have access in appname/admin. I'm going to give it a few hours maybe it takes some time.

    Thanks anyway mate

    Home Page:
It sounds like the application your friend coded has its own admin section to it..Because of that, the admin password is probably stored in one of the files.maybe look in appinclude.php, config.php, settings.php..some file like that and you may see the password to the admin area in there..

    hope it helps

It's not password protected - it just has permissions for certain users - so anyone who goes to it would see "you are not authorised to access this page". I believe it is permission based on the developers personal Facebook ID - not sure if that makes any difference?

Add him as a friend, make sure he confirms. Then go into edit app > Add developer, start typing his name then click on him. Be aware that once someone else is a developer they can kick you out so only give over the ownership once payment has cleared etc.

Edit: Just seen you already done that! I guess it's something to do with what your coder has done, maybe IP restricted.

Don't worry I got the payment first ;)

That's what I've done - he has admin access to the app from facebook's side (developer etc) but it's the app itself that's the problem. The script the app is developed on has an admin backend where you can add items etc - and this is accessed at apps.facebook.com/appname/admin - I'm looking for the permissions for that?

Edit - just saw your update. Yeah, I mainly wanted to check it wasn't me being dumb - I'm waiting for dev team to get back to me.

    Thanks!

if you go into the config file on the ftp there should be a field to enter the UIDS of admins for the app
