Transferring domain after winning godaddy auction?

Hi,
Should I keep the winning domain in godaddy or transfer it to some other registrar? For PBN purpose.

I don't trust GoDaddy and their service and support has gone down hill the last decade. Irrespective of how you got the domain or what you intend to do with it, I don't recommend keeping anything on GoDaddy.

It depends on your strategy. If there are no footprints, you can leave it alone.

It should be fine. The only potential issue is the cost of renewal, which is significantly higher than with other registrars. I'd explore other registrars as well.

I usually grab them on GoDaddy, then transfer after 60 days to split registrars and hide patterns. Also check if the auction domain has old WHOIS records still indexed , sometimes that leaks PBN info.

only you can decide to leave them there or not
our experiances arnt yours .

After winning, you have to pay for a year; no point in moving it that year. Not the biggest fan of GD, but it ain't that bad.

After the year, if you feel like keeping the domain, look for some transfer deals, GD will renew at a high price (Around 22/25 USD)

With transfer you can find some deals on Porkbun, Spaceship, Dynadot, which are all great in my opinion; it won't cost you over 9 bucks.
