Hey,

1-I just wrote all my bank account info as well but swift code totally wrong !! In this issue i will receive the money ??? or it will back to the sender again ?

2- Also the sender sent me USD and i just have Turkish Lira account ,,, what do you think also ?

Please separate your answer ,, and thanks in advance

Good Day

1. Depends on the sending bank. They can block the transfer if they notice that SWIFT is wrong.
2. Bank will exchange dollars to liras using daily exchange rate, you will get money to your account in liras

There is a possibility that the sender's bank can recall the wire. do ask the guy to let the bank recall it. It may help. About currency, your bank will receive the funds in USD n convert it to local currency then move to ur acc.

Worst case scenario - The money will be stuck with the mediator bank and they will contact you regarding the issue. Or you'll get the money in case the Swift code is similar to the actual one.

It will be rejected, and the sending bank will credit senders account.

1. The SWIFT is the code that is identifying the receiver bank - therefore if is incorrect the money will return to the sender. There are some exceptions if you gave the full IBAN = full 24 digits and the sender bank is having instant recognition they can identify the SWIFT code instantly so the money will go to you.
2. If the money are sent in the USD and your account is Turkish Lira then the conversion will be made by your bank and their exchange rate. You can see it for sure in your bank website the rate exchange.

I presume the sender is from the states;
All the transfers from USA to Europe go through Deutche Bank (German Bank);
The sender's bank sends the money to Deutche Bank which sends it then to Turkish Bank;

In case of a wrong SWIFT code, the senders bank should fill a request to Detuche Bank to get the money back;
It will take a week or so for the banks to resolve the issue, but the money with be returned back to the sender's account;

Once the sender sends the money again with the right SWIFT code, you will get the money in dollars;
Your bank will convert the money in the currency of your county (Lira in this case) and charge a small fee for the transfer;

if it's not an urgent issue, it's not a biggy, the money won't be lost as others already said above, but it may take a few business days to be sorted out

Thanks very much all in that kind help comments !!!
Have a good day BHers

Man I told you already, the money will return to the sender... Just don't worry, you will get your money back :D
