Hey all! So.....I have had a .co.uk domain for a number of years and built it up slowly and safely and starting to get a good return (regardless of the recent Big G nonsense!!).
I could not buy the .com in the first instance some years ago but have just manage to get it which means my site no longer has to be geotargeting the UK - something that was really annoying and set in webmasters.
So my question is - the url is, of course, exactly the same with the .com as it is with the .co.uk but I am not sure what the best way is to go around letting G know that I have moved to the .com without a massive hit on traffic? Has anyone had any experience of this and any hints and tips on how to go about it safely? I know that there will be some initial disruption of course.
Cheers!
