Transactional Emails - Delivery Rate

I'm only sending transactional emails like registration, forgot password, invoices etc.. and having a hard time delivering to microsoft addresses (hotmail, outlook etc). I'm currently using sendgrid and have everything setup the best I can, also verifying with tools like mail-tester.com to make sure it's just the IP.

The problem is, I only send around ~1000 mails per month so I'm not in need of an expensive plan. But almost every processor requires a plan for ~60-70$/month to get a dedicated IP. Anyone know a solution to this?

I use Turbo smtp pay as you go plan. That will not force you to pay for huge sending rates that get wasted.

With their pay as you go, you can just buy sending credits valid for a long period (one year I guess) before it expires. Here https://serversmtp.com/en/cart.php

Looks like the same issue here. You have to pay 70$+ monthly to get a dedicated IP. I'm fine with sendgrid, as they offer 10k emails/month for free, just having problem with delivering to some addresses due to the shared IP. I think I would have the same issue with serversmtp.

I would recommend Mxmail.com, they even verify your email list before sending to identify spam traps, abuse emails, etc via their partnership with Zerobounce. I think there's a 3000 free trial.

Doesnt look like a service for transactional emails though
 
maybe the domain reputation is not good with hotmail... however hotmail is always trouble maker for delivery... but sendgrid like providers must have good IPs even if it is shared... did u check you domain with http://multirbl.valli.org/ ?
 
I recommend you use mailgun.com. It's free for 10K email / mo

Arent they the same as sendgrid?

Its very strange. Sometimes my email gets blocked, but i keep sending it and eventually after 2-3 times it gets delivered?

How do people go about sending transactional emails? Do you simply have to pay 100$ month or use a simple gmail? Doesnt look very professional..

Even if someone from hotmail emails me, my reply to them gets blocked. It makes no sense.

Tried to get out of the sandbox for months without any success. Not sure who that service is for since my legit business with only transactional emails got denied. No real answers from them.
 
Better u get ur own private server and configure ur mail server on it. I configure smtp servers though and u can use it anytime u want. No restrictions.

I've tried using my dedicated server (where the hosting is) but had problems, having to submit my IP to blacklists all the time
 
So is there any service like this? What im looking for is a service just like sendgrid or mailgun - but with a dedicated IP or clean shared pool that doesnt cost 80$+/month.
 
Microsoft run a whitelist based system, so when a domain changes IP, you have to manually request it is added to their whitelist. Try submitting a support request to have your ip added.

have you tried sparkpost?

Same issue, I think from time they made it harder to get accepted and are now very strict about who they accept.
