I just recently got addicted to trance music. I can see why it's your passion! I even had the idea of starting a techno/trance/electronic type music blog as well, though I doubt I'd keep up with it. I'm still fairly new to the IM world, but I believe you could monetize a trance blog. Start the blog and try not to think about making money off it. If all else fails, you'd have a fun side project your passionate about, even if you don't make much with it! Though, we all know you can't waste time blogging for fun, so.. An EXACT match for the keyword 'trance' gives you about:15k Local Monthly Searches and $0.51 CPC. The keyword 'trance music': 6.6k Local Monthly Searches and $0.34 CPC. So you might not make much, but it's possible to make something! Especially if you live it, love it, and breath it! That passion should make it easy to pop out good quality posts and keep people coming back! Type in "trance blog" or "trance music blog" on Google. Do you think you can have a better blog than the ones shown? THREE of them are blogspot blogs! Come on! You can beat those!
You could earn through the iTunes affiliate program. That way you can promote individual artists/tracks/albums you like yourself. Since you are passionate about the niche writing reviews should be easy for you.
Trance is the meaning of life. BUT what can you write about it? There is a new tracker? Or a new sample collection? Or some overrated DJ went to yet another capital and played the same stuff again, saying every 15 minutes where he's at? Not much... Before spending time on choosing a domain and building a website, first try writing 20 blogposts with at least 500 words each (you can always upload them later). If you manage that, your site may have a chance
Guys, im a Trance-DJ and a big fan of Trance music. Arent there any clickbank products related to this ? How about promoting new trance songs and referring to ticket-sites which sell tickets for the trance energy i.e. ? If anyone has futher ideas, im interested in creating a partnership best regards
thats a good idea about itunes music and tickets etc , what about dj software ? you know for example ableton , advertise shops that sell dj/music products , legal download places that sell the latest trance/dance mp3s etc , i bet if you lok around you will find something nice idea though bcg
Cool, update as you go if you have time please. I'm interested to see how it progresses for you. Once you have some good traffic you could even sell promo spots for new DJ's tracks or write paid reviews.
