Traffic targets for a news site?

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is the wrong section - please move if it is.

So i have a celebrity news site (based on 1 celebrity) - recently the site has been gathering more visitors with established news sites using us as sources, we're getting on average around 300 unique visitors a day.

Is this ok for a small news site? I have adsense running but I'm not making much with it.

300 unique visitor for new site is good number!!! Continue with the work you doing now, Surely your visitors count will increase.. If you need instant traffic, use the power of social media.

I currently use twitter and have 1800 followers for the particular celebrity, it's not very responsive though.

Try other social channels and increase the visit count by keeping your visitors engaged with your site by grabbing their attention with interesting posts and stuffs.. Good luck though

What's strange also is that after checking stats, around 20% of my visitors come through google images, through .es .com.br etc.

Also, I have no idea how to gain visitors on facebook, I don't personally use it so i'm not that experienced in it. I use twitter and am very good at marketing it, my personal account has 22k+
